Fundamentals of Nursing
All the Principals of Government Schools of Nursing /Correspondents of Private
Schools of Nursing are informed that the examination centers shall be the concerned
Govt. schools of Nursing / Teaching Hospitals / Medical colleges. The New application
forms for examinations are available in DME official web site i.e. http://dme.ap.nic.in
Further it is also informed that the old Proforma applications forms shall not
be accepted.
The filled in applications with examination fee of the students of Nursing
Schools along with Internal Assessment Marks and Attendance of theory and
Practical should be scrutinized by the Principal of concerned School of Nursing and
to submit directly to the O/o the Director of Medical Education, A.P, Hyderabad on
or before 09-03-2010 by 5.00 P.M. and the applications will be accepted with late
fee of Rs. 100/- per candidate in addition to the existing examination fee of 1st,
2nd and 3rd year for a period of 3 days from 10-03-2010 to 12-03-2010.
Important Note:
The Principals of Govt./Private Schools of Nursing are directed that they
have to enclose the Attested Xerox copies of the Mark lists of the previous years to
the Examination applications. Without this the applications will be rejected.
Further, they have to enclose a certificate to the examination application
form the concerned hospital stating that the students have completed the required
clinical hours.
The Examination fee structure is as follows:-
1. Ist year examination or part thereof Rs.200/-
2. IInd year examination or part thereof Rs. 250/-
3. IIIrd year examination or part thereof Rs.300/-
(including fee for issue of Memo. of marks of Rs.10/-)
The above fee should be remitted through challan in the Government treasury to the
following Head of Account on or before 06-03-2010.and with late fee Rs. 100/- from
10-03-2010 to 12-03-10. Separate challans should be made for all students of 1st , 2nd
and 3rd year students.

The original challan along with (2) Sets of Xerox copies has to be enclosed to
the application form. The fee once paid will not be returned or adjusted under any
circumstances.
Any application without the following particulars are liable for rejection.
Further, they should follow the following instructions scrupulously.
1) All the applications should have the enclosures as noted in the
application form. Incomplete and incorrect applications will be rejected.
2) As per the examination schedule, the candidates should produce their
practical Record at the examination center concerned.
3) All the Supplementary Students of 1st Year, 2nd year and 3rd year should enter
their Hall tickets Numbers and examinations centres with Red ink Pen on the
application and Hall ticket.
4) The Principals of Government and Private Schools of Nursing are informed
that necessary instructions may be given to their students concerned that
while filling up the Application form the name of the student/Father or
Guardian Name/ Institution as per their S.S.L.C./S.S.C., IN BLOCK
LETTERS ONLY, AND NO CORRECTIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED
LATER ON. They should Write the identification marks of the student also.
5) THE PRINCIPALS OF SCHOOLS OF NURSING ARE INFORMED
THAT HALL TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED ONLY TO THOSE SCHOOLS
THAT ARE FOLLOWING INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL
REGULATIONS, NEW DELHI.
6) All the Government Schools of Nursing/ Private Schools of Nursing are
instructed to submit the Internal Assessment marks, Attendance
Certificate for both theory and Practicals of the students of their
concerned Schools of Nursing along with exam applications to the
Director of Medical Education office, A.P, Hyderabad. They are also
informed that unless the internal Assessment marks are submitted by
them, the hall tickets cannot be issued under any circumstances and no
choice will be given in this regard. They are also informed that if any
student fails in Internal Marks such students application should not to
Submit this office.
7) The students who are not eligible for final BGNM Examinations as per INC
norms like i.e shortage of Attendance etc. such applications should not
submit to the Director of Medical Education office, A.P, Hyderabad.
8) The Superintendents of concerned Teaching Hospitals are informed to make
arrangement to send the Principals of of the Government Schools of Nursing
concerned to collect Examination Material and Hall tickets on 17-03-2010
and 18-03-2010
9) The Superintendents of the General Nursing and Midwifery Examination
Centers are requested to send the Answer Scripts of Theory papers on
05.04.2010 and practical answer scripts on 12.04.2010 without fail. The
Superintendents of the General Nursing and Midwifery centers are informed
that he/ she should super scribe the Register Numbers of the Answer Scripts
packed in the Bundles. Any deviations in the submission of Answer scripts
will be viewed seriously.
10) The Superintendents of the General Nursing and Midwifery Examinations
centers are requested to submit the record of attendance (Subject wise) in
separate cover in original of all the students who appeared General Nursing
and Midwifery Regular Examinations, March, 2010 ]otherwise the Answer
Scripts will not be received without original record of attendance. C

OF NURSING FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE GNM EXAMINATION
APPLICATIONS
1. Please log on with your User ID ( School Code) and Password
which is available in the notification and click on submit button.
2. Specific options are given on the screen and select the
appropriate option on the screen i.e., “New Regulation “ and
“School Particulars“

3. For New regulations 1st year regular candidates, the application
form opens and a Application number is generated which can
be obtained in the printout. This number can be used for taking
out any subsequent printouts.
4. All the blanks in the application form should be filled up to
obtain a printout. There is no provision for editing. Hence, the
School authorities are instructed to be careful while typing the
particulars in the on-line form.
5. For opening the application form for all 1st year Supplementary,
2nd year regular & Supplementary and 3rd year regular &
Supplementary candidates you should enter the Hall ticket
number allocated earlier.
6. The final printout is available only on Pdf format. Hence, you
are instructed to download Acrobat Reader.

Fundamentals of Nursing
All the Principals of Government Schools of Nursing /Correspondents of Private
Schools of Nursing are informed that the examination centers shall be the concerned
Govt. schools of Nursing / Teaching Hospitals / Medical colleges. The New application
forms for examinations are available in DME official web site i.e. http://dme.ap.nic.in
Further it is also informed that the old Proforma applications forms shall not
be accepted.
The filled in applications with examination fee of the students of Nursing
Schools along with Internal Assessment Marks and Attendance of theory and
Practical should be scrutinized by the Principal of concerned School of Nursing and
to submit directly to the O/o the Director of Medical Education, A.P, Hyderabad on
or before 09-03-2010 by 5.00 P.M. and the applications will be accepted with late
fee of Rs. 100/- per candidate in addition to the existing examination fee of 1st,
2nd and 3rd year for a period of 3 days from 10-03-2010 to 12-03-2010.
Important Note:
The Principals of Govt./Private Schools of Nursing are directed that they
have to enclose the Attested Xerox copies of the Mark lists of the previous years to
the Examination applications. Without this the applications will be rejected.
Further, they have to enclose a certificate to the examination application
form the concerned hospital stating that the students have completed the required
clinical hours.
The Examination fee structure is as follows:-
1. Ist year examination or part thereof Rs.200/-
2. IInd year examination or part thereof Rs. 250/-
3. IIIrd year examination or part thereof Rs.300/-
(including fee for issue of Memo. of marks of Rs.10/-)
The above fee should be remitted through challan in the Government treasury to the
following Head of Account on or before 06-03-2010.and with late fee Rs. 100/- from
10-03-2010 to 12-03-10. Separate challans should be made for all students of 1st , 2nd
and 3rd year students.

The original challan along with (2) Sets of Xerox copies has to be enclosed to
the application form. The fee once paid will not be returned or adjusted under any
circumstances.
Any application without the following particulars are liable for rejection.
Further, they should follow the following instructions scrupulously.
1) All the applications should have the enclosures as noted in the
application form. Incomplete and incorrect applications will be rejected.
2) As per the examination schedule, the candidates should produce their
practical Record at the examination center concerned.
3) All the Supplementary Students of 1st Year, 2nd year and 3rd year should enter
their Hall tickets Numbers and examinations centres with Red ink Pen on the
application and Hall ticket.
4) The Principals of Government and Private Schools of Nursing are informed
that necessary instructions may be given to their students concerned that
while filling up the Application form the name of the student/Father or
Guardian Name/ Institution as per their S.S.L.C./S.S.C., IN BLOCK
LETTERS ONLY, AND NO CORRECTIONS WILL BE ENTERTAINED
LATER ON. They should Write the identification marks of the student also.
5) THE PRINCIPALS OF SCHOOLS OF NURSING ARE INFORMED
THAT HALL TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED ONLY TO THOSE SCHOOLS
THAT ARE FOLLOWING INDIAN NURSING COUNCIL
REGULATIONS, NEW DELHI.
6) All the Government Schools of Nursing/ Private Schools of Nursing are
instructed to submit the Internal Assessment marks, Attendance
Certificate for both theory and Practicals of the students of their
concerned Schools of Nursing along with exam applications to the
Director of Medical Education office, A.P, Hyderabad. They are also
informed that unless the internal Assessment marks are submitted by
them, the hall tickets cannot be issued under any circumstances and no
choice will be given in this regard. They are also informed that if any
student fails in Internal Marks such students application should not to
Submit this office.
7) The students who are not eligible for final BGNM Examinations as per INC
norms like i.e shortage of Attendance etc. such applications should not
submit to the Director of Medical Education office, A.P, Hyderabad.
8) The Superintendents of concerned Teaching Hospitals are informed to make
arrangement to send the Principals of of the Government Schools of Nursing
concerned to collect Examination Material and Hall tickets on 17-03-2010
and 18-03-2010
9) The Superintendents of the General Nursing and Midwifery Examination
Centers are requested to send the Answer Scripts of Theory papers on
05.04.2010 and practical answer scripts on 12.04.2010 without fail. The
Superintendents of the General Nursing and Midwifery centers are informed
that he/ she should super scribe the Register Numbers of the Answer Scripts
packed in the Bundles. Any deviations in the submission of Answer scripts
will be viewed seriously.
10) The Superintendents of the General Nursing and Midwifery Examinations
centers are requested to submit the record of attendance (Subject wise) in
separate cover in original of all the students who appeared General Nursing
and Midwifery Regular Examinations, March, 2010 ]otherwise the Answer
Scripts will not be received without original record of attendance. C

INSTRUCTIONS TO THE PRINCIPALS OF GOVT. & PRIVATE SCHOOLS
OF NURSING FOR SUBMISSION OF ON-LINE GNM EXAMINATION
APPLICATIONS
1. Please log on with your User ID ( School Code) and Password
which is available in the notification and click on submit button.
2. Specific options are given on the screen and select the
appropriate option on the screen i.e., “New Regulation “ and
“School Particulars“

3. For New regulations 1st year regular candidates, the application
form opens and a Application number is generated which can
be obtained in the printout. This number can be used for taking
out any subsequent printouts.
4. All the blanks in the application form should be filled up to
obtain a printout. There is no provision for editing. Hence, the
School authorities are instructed to be careful while typing the
particulars in the on-line form.
5. For opening the application form for all 1st year Supplementary,
2nd year regular & Supplementary and 3rd year regular &
Supplementary candidates you should enter the Hall ticket

2. APPLICANT MUST COMPULSORILY FILL-UP ALL RELEVANT COLUMNS OF
APPLICATION AND SUBMIT APPLICATION THROUGH WEBSITE ONLY. THE
PARTICULARS MADE AVAILABLE IN THE WEBSITE SHALL BE PROCESSED
THROUGH COMPUTER AND THE ELIGIBILITY DECIDED IN TERMS OF
NOTIFICATION AND CONFIRMED ACCORDINGLY.
3. THE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED ONLINE IN THE PRESCRIBED PROFORMA
AVAILABLE IN THE WEBSITE AND WITHIN THE TIME SHALL ONLY BE
CONSIDERED AND THE COMMISSION WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR
ANY KIND OF DISCREPANCY.
4. APPLICANTS MUST COMPULSORILY UPLOAD HIS/HER OWN SCANNED PHOTO
AND SIGNATURE THROUGH J.P.G FORMAT.
5. ALL THE ESSENTIAL CERTIFICATES ISSUED BY THE COMPETENT AUTHORITY
SHALL COMPULSORILY BE KEPT WITH THE APPLICANTS TO PRODUCE AS
AND WHEN REQUIRED FOR VERIFICATION.
6. THE APPLICANTS SHOULD NOT FURNISH ANY PARTICULARS THAT ARE
FALSE, TAMPERED, FABRICATED OR SUPPRESS ANY MATERIAL
INFORMATION WHILE MAKING AN APPLICATION THROUGH WEBSITE.
7. IMPORTANT:- HAND WRITTEN/TYPED/PHOTOSTAT COPIES/PRINTED
APPLICATION FORM WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED.
N.B:- 1) The Applicants are advised to pay the fee and submit their applications ON-LINE
well in advance of the last dates i.e., 20/03/2010 for payment of fee and
22/03/2010 for submission of Applications.
2) On 22/03/2010 on-line submission closes by 5.00 P.M.
